SMACNA’s Phenolic Duct Construction Standard

Description:

Join us for our Annual joint meeting with SMCA.  This year's presentation will be by Steven Watson, SMACNA Project Manager, covering SMACNA's Phenolic Duct Construction Standard.  This standard provides basic phenolic duct fabrication and installation standards that sheet metal contractors, code officials and design engineers will find useful. Phenolic duct is made using foam insulation that is manufactured into rigid panels with aluminum facings on both sides of the panel. The resulting ductwork is non-ferrous, pre-insulated and light weight.
