David Morrison, PE

David Morrison is an Owner and Principal at Advanced Engineering Inc. (AEI), a full-service MEP/FP engineering firm in Media, PA. With a passion for developing elegant solutions to complex challenges in the built environment, David collaborates closely with clients to deliver designs that align with their vision, budget, and sustainability objectives. Known for his ability to simplify intricate problems, David empowers stakeholders to make informed building decisions. He holds PE licenses across multiple states and earned both his Bachelor's and Master's of Science degrees from Drexel University. David actively contributes to the industry as a member of the ASHRAE Philadelphia Board of Governors and the ULI Housing and Healthcare Councils. |

Vaughan Piccolo

Vaughan Piccolo is the Vice President of Preconstruction with Innova Project Management. Vaughan’s concentration is on project design review. He played a key role in the management and growth of Innova’s focus on Passive House and ultra-low energy design and construction. Vaughan has extensive experience in all areas of general construction with an emphasis on mechanical systems and building enclosure performance; he was lead building performance technician for Innova’s joint research with the Building Science Corporation’s and the DOE Building America program. Vaughan holds certifications as a Certified Passive House Consultant (PHIUS), Passive House Large Building Verifier (PHIUS), RESNET Certified Home Energy Rater and ENERGY STAR® Residential Verification Partner performing ENERGY STAR® for Homes and Indoor airPLUS verifications, NGBS Green Verifier, BPI Building Analyst, ENERGY STAR® for Multifamily Highrise Consultant, Enterprise Green Communities Consultant, and New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program Pay for Performance Consultant. Vaughan holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration from Drexel University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. |

Jason Siensa, PE

As Mechanical Department Manager for Bala’s Philadelphia office, Jason oversees the daily operations of the mechanical group, supporting projects across all Bala offices and major market sectors including mission critical, real estate, corporate interiors, higher education and building infrastructure. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and over 20 years of industry experience, Jason delivers innovative, energy-efficient and reliable solutions to complex engineering challenges. He serves as a key technical resource and is committed to training and mentoring Bala’s emerging engineers. Jason also oversees energy modeling and computational fluid analysis (CFD) efforts across all offices. |

Michael Witkowski, PE
|
Mike joined the team in 1999, under the supervision of founder, Joe McHugh. He started to design systems and manage projects, which eventually led him into partnership with Brian Malloy and Steve Griet, when Joe McHugh retired, making him Vice President – Director of Mechanical Engineering in 2013. Mike went to Drexel University and graduated with a BSME and MSCIVE, and now has professional licenses in NJ, PA, CA, MI, NY, CT, MA, TN. One of Mike’s memorable projects was Parktowne Place in Philadelphia, which ended up being an 8-year project since it started as upgrading the MPE systems in the buildings and evolved into a contract to renovate the Towne Center and apartments. |
