The Philadelphia Chapter of ASHRAE has invited the co-author of "Contracts and the Legal Environment" to speak on the interpretation of contracts and specifications (by judges, engineers, contractors, and owners), limiting or mitigating liability, and experience with navigating the legal environment within the industry. 

Synopsis:

"It is not what the designer or author of the specification thinks it means, it is not what the contractor who is to perform the work thinks it means, it is what the Judge called to interpret says it means."
