Technical Session: Heat Pump Water Heating For Commercial Domestic Hot Water Applications

Local regulations are quickly changing to prioritize electrification of heating equipment, including domestic water heating. 

Join us to learn how heat pump water heaters (HPWHs) work, the benefits of using HPWHs, how to size HPWH systems, and the constraints associated with HPWH designs.

Our speaker's Bios:

Dave provides technical design and sales support to consulting engineers, distributors, contractors and building owners in the Philadelphia, South Jersey and Delaware markets for Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC. Prior to joining METUS 4 years ago, Dave worked for an engineering firm in the nuclear power industry and was employed in the oil and gas industry prior to that. Dave graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and currently resides in Philadelphia.

Rob provides technical design and sales support to consulting engineers, distributors, contractors and building owners in the Philadelphia , South Jersey and Delaware markets for Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC. Before joining the sales team at METUS Rob spent the last 5 years in commercial and residential HVAC Sales. Prior to that he worked for a mechanical contractor installing VRF since 2010. Rob graduated CHI technical school receiving the Universal Refrigeration Certification and currently resides in Chester County Pennsylvania.
